Our Membership

The Mississippi/Alabama Division of the US Oil and Gas Association is a trade association that represents the area's oil and gas natural industry. The membership of the Association is comprised of companies engaged in oil and gas exploration and production, transportation, refining and marketing of petroleum products and natural gas transportation, processing, electric generation and distribution.

Our Mission

• The Mission of the Association is to establish and maintain reasonable statewide public policy regarding legislative and regulatory issues and to work on regional and federal issues which could have a significant impact on the industry.
  
• The Mission is accomplished through formulating policy and positions through the work of the Association's general and technical committees, and the Association's Executive Committee and Board, and by using the collective strength and influence of its member organizations to advocate these policies and positions.
  
• Toward the fulfillment of this Mission, the Association supports legislation and regulatory policies which enhance the development and growth of our industry in an environmentally safe and socially responsible manner.
